National School Breakfast Week is March 4th to 8th 2024.
National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day.
Many studies have shown the health benefits of eating breakfast. It improves your energy levels and ability to concentrate in the short term.
A healthy breakfast refuels the body and replenishes the blood sugar (glucose), giving the energy necessary to start a new day. It is proven that breakfast is good for both physical and mental health. Eating breakfast is important for all ages, especially for children and adolescents.

PTSA BANQUET INTEREST FORM
Hello, everyone! The Lebanon Trail PTSA Board is currently considering the idea of an end-of-year membership banquet for all of our PTSA members, especially the students. In particular, we would love to recognize students for their active participation in the school community, honor the first recipients of our brand-new graduation cords, and celebrate the achievements of our Reflections Art Contest participants, PTA scholarship winners, and Lifetime Membership awardees. To make the experience as amazing as possible, please note that there would a per person cost to attend this banquet.
Before the Board moves forward with developing a more detailed proposal, we'd like to hear from the rest of the PTSA family! Please take a moment to fill out this interest form— your feedback is important to us.
GRADUATION CORDS
Have you joined PTSA and started earning your points towards Graduation Cords? it is not too late. LTHS students must be a PTSA member by March 31st their Senior Year. For the classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026, a graduated point system is in place to enable you to earn a graduation cord starting with your current grade. Class of 2024 must have 15 points.
FRISCO ISD ART CONTEST
Calling all student artists for our 4th Annual K-12 Art Contest! Submit your artwork by March 20th for a chance to win a cash prize. Join us for the Artist Reception on Saturday, April 20th to celebrate our amazing artists.
WE NEED YOU! FOR PTSA BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS
If you are interested in serving on our PTA Board during the 2024-2025 school year, please complete this form by MARCH 31st. For most roles listed below, both students and adults may show interest as a candidate. Exceptions are President, 1st VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and where noted as a role designated for a parent or student. Elected officer positions are President, 1st VP, 2nd VP, 3rd VP, Secretary, and Treasurer. All other positions are appointed by the President and approved by the officers.

Our Nominating Committee will reach out to discuss your interest and experience soon. Elections will take place on April 17, 2024, during our scheduled PTSA meeting.
