HEALTHY LIFESTYLES

Healthy Lifestyles PTSA Chair focuses on activities which focus on improving health and well-being of students, families and staff at LTHS. When we are committed to our students health, we are committed to their future. Healthy Lifestyles works to promote healthy lifestyles in the home, school, and around our community.  We want to emphasize the connection between healthy lifestyles, behavior, and learning as well as promote family and community involvement by developing a healthy living and learning environment.

"What is the WSCC model?

The Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child, or WSCC model, is CDC’s framework for addressing health in schools.   The WSCC model is student-centered and emphasizes the role of the community in supporting the school, the connections between health and academic achievement and the importance of evidence-based school policies and practices."

Visit the CDC's website for more information.
