Lebanon Trail PTSA Membership meeting

Welcome to our school community and our first LTHS PTSA Membership Meeting of the year! We are thrilled to kick off a fantastic school year with you. Whether you want to stay informed, connect with fellow parents and educators, or share fresh ideas to help our students thrive, your presence makes a huge difference.

  • Date & Time: September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM

  • Location: LTHS Library

Join us for a relaxed hour of school updates and event planning. There is zero pressure to volunteer—simply showing up and participating in the conversation is a wonderful way to support our students!

Texas PTA Rally Day

Texas PTA Rally Day is a high-energy biennial event where parents, educators, and students from across the Lone Star State unite at the State Capitol in Austin to advocate for public education. Held during the regular legislative session, Rally Day offers a direct opportunity to meet with lawmakers, engage in the legislative process, and champion the needs of Texas schools.

  • Date: Monday, February 22, 2027

  • Location: State Capitol (Austin, TX)

Why Your Voice Matters

Decisions made inside the Capitol directly impact school funding, teacher retention, student safety, and mental health resources. Key legislative focus areas include:

  • Public School Funding: Increasing the basic allotment, accounting for inflation, and keeping public funds in public schools.

  • Supporting Educators: Driving solutions for teacher shortages and improving support systems to retain top-tier staff.

  • Student Well-Being: Strengthening campus safety, mental health services, and enrichment programs.

Student Perks: Attending Rally Day counts as an excused absence from school, and students earn volunteer hours toward their graduation cord program!

Get Involved: Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lend a hand with PTSA events throughout the year. By working together, we build a stronger school community—and students earn valuable service hours along the way.

  • Graduation Honor Cords: Students who maintain a PTSA membership can earn a Volunteer Honor Cord for graduation by completing 100 volunteer hours across all four high school years.
